One of my favorite features about this Midland emergency radio is the integrated LED High/Lo Beam Flashlight with a SOS strobe. If I'm ever in a situation where I find myself stranded and my headlamp dead, I know I can rely on the built-in flashlight to guide my way. Or worse case, I know I can stand behind the SOS strobe feature to signal an overhead chopper or faraway hiker if I find myself in distress.
